Salary Sacrifice portal - enhanced checkout

Introducing enhanced checkout on the Gensen Salary Sacrifice platform with better-qualified vehicle enquiries, clearer customer journeys and cleaner order data.

Checkout stage 3: users confirm their term and mileage, with contextual guidance

We’re excited to announce the completion of the enhanced checkout rollout in the Gensen Salary Sacrifice platform, based on recent testing and feedback from our partners.

The upgrade creates a clearer, more informative enquiry journey to help partners recognise genuine order intent sooner, improve data quality and progress electric vehicle enquiries more efficiently.

What’s changed?

Enhanced checkout introduces:

  • A clear distinction between order-ready enquiries and quick callback requests.

  • Greater visibility of vehicle costs, annual mileage, contract term and selected options at the enquiry stage.

  • Cleaner, more consistent information flowing into partner order processes.

What does this mean for partners?

Your team will receive better-qualified enquiries containing the information needed to understand each user’s requirements and intent.

CSV feeds will clearly identify whether a submission is a full enquiry or a callback request. Where relevant, they will also include the user’s selected vehicle options, giving your team a more complete picture from the outset.

This should reduce ambiguity, support more productive conversations and help you move genuine EV enquiries forward faster.

A clearer experience for users

The enhanced journey also gives users a better understanding of what happens after they submit an enquiry. This includes clear guidance about employer approval and reassurance that salary deductions will not begin until their vehicle has been delivered.

Users will receive an automated, branded confirmation email summarising their enquiry. This provides immediate reassurance that their details have been received while setting clear expectations for the next stage.

Continuing to improve the Gensen experience

Enhanced checkout is live on all our client platforms. As with every Gensen development, we’ll continuously review usage, analytics and partner feedback to identify opportunities for further improvement.
